There are plenty of factors travelers have to consider when hunting for the perfect hotel room, like unique layouts, price points, and amenities. But this artsy newcomer in St. Louis plans to throw one more unconventional variable into the mix: emotion. The Angad Arts Hotel alters the customer’s expectations of a hotel and creates a unique way to view color through emotions and arts.


The Angad Arts Hotel is the first hotel in the world that allows visitors to book a hotel based on emotion and color. This concept gives customers the option of booking their room by the bed, room size, and the emotion of color they want to experience.


The new logo is inspired by the Gateway Arch of St. Louis. The logo also represents a window, meaning that the hotel will provide a unique way to view the world.



The Angad Arts Hotel alters the customer’s expectations of what a hotel can offer by creating a unique way to view color through emotions and arts.


The hotel also provides a physical look book and social media content to explain the relationship between color and emotion.

The hotel provides a spatial projection system that aims to showcase visitors’ real-time emotion levels inside the hotel. Through an application that Angad Arts Hotel provides for their visitors, they can input their daily emotional ratings and upload them to the server. The application will generate a random animation based on the inputs, and the animation will be projected at the hotel lobby area. This experience allows the hotel guests to have the ability to broaden up their hospitality experiences and have a unique way to communicate their emotions with others.
