Between the Spaces is an exhibition and a two-part publication featuring installation artists who encourage people to notice the often overlooked spaces in between. This exhibition aims to redefine the relationships between spaces and may be described in terms of collaborative curatorial practice by artists worldwide who practice a similar philosophy.

Between the Spaces is a two-part exhibition catalog. The first part of the catalog is about artists who focus on using more structural visual elements to talk about the spaces in between.

The world is actually “empty,” and its density is getting smaller. Humans live between spaces. The space between spaces is more meaningful than space itself. But it is also easily overlooked.

The second part of the catalog focuses on spatial artists who valued color and other medians inside a space. It is precisely because of the diversity and complexity of “the space in between” and its uncertainty that it has more value.

“The space in between” is generally affecting us. The catalog uses a horizontal layout to work as a representation of an exhibition or museum space. “Between the spaces” is a form of expansion that exists above the construction of space.
Between the spaces exhibition sincerely invite you to enter the space in between.
